OnSiteCMS allows you to manage a wide range of content types within your website.

• Text - Display text in your website and supplement it with your own styles and formatting.  The integrated WYSIWYG editor makes it easy to see how your content will look when published
• Documents - Publish your document files and automatically track the downloads that are being made by your site users
• News Stories - Write your own news stories or link to external news feeds.  Categorise each story and display them in configurable lists throughout your site
• Announcements - Construct announcements to attract site users to specific offers or messages that you want to highlight
• Images - Upload graphics and photographs to your site and use them to enhance the content that you publish
• Contact Forms - Create your own ‘Contact Us’ style forms to request any kind of information from your site users.  Capture the information from these forms through configurable e-mail addresses
• Surveys and Polls - Post surveys and polls on your site and analyse the responses made by your users
• Client Log-In Areas - Create any number of restricted areas within your site, such as special pages relating to a specific customer or user.  Restrict access to these areas through a secure log-in process that is fully configurable by your own administrators

Control How and When Your Website Content is Published

The publishing of your content is fully controlled through a simple workflow process built into OnSiteCMS.

• System users are assigned a role (Editor, Approver or Administrator) that defines the level to which they can publish HTML content
• HTML Content is written and assigned a status (Draft, Approved or Live) that defines where it is in the publishing life-cycle and when it appears on the live website
• The publishing and removal of content can be automatically scheduled by date – for example, seasonal-specific content can be written, approved and published but prevented from appearing on your site until a specified date
• All HTML content modifications are tracked by OnSiteCMS with a full change history available by user

Create Content Quickly and Consistently

The use of ‘page templates’ within OnSiteCMS makes it easy for you to create content quickly and consistently.  Page templates are created during the initial design phase of your website and define the typical layouts of the various page styles within your websites.

When creating new pages, a template will be used to help get you started..  When creating a new page you will be presented with a starting page that matches the style and layout of other pages within your site, enabling you to publish pages more quickly and improving the overall consistency of your site.

Control Who is Updating Your Website Content

Access to the features provided by OnSiteCMS is controlled by an integrated security model.  Your website administrator can control who in your organisation is able to access the system and what they are able to do when they are using it.  All user activity is automatically tracked to help you identify what modifications are being made and by whom.

Be Creative with the Content You Display

OnSiteCMS has been designed to be fully open and customisable to the specific needs of your website or organisation.  Where required, the standard features of the system can be extended or modified and elements of custom content managed within the confines of the familiar OnSiteCMS environment.
